What is Counseling?

Counseling is a partnership and collaborative effort between your therapist and you. Your therapist won't be able to "fix" your problems however, they will work with you collaboratively to support you in establishing and reaching your goals.


These goals might include: effective communication, overcoming functional freeze, problem solving, healthy decision making, regaining your strength, emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, healthy relationships, and mental clarity.
